Armchair in European oak from the Danish design brand, Form & Refine, founded in 2018 by the furniture architects behind Herman Studio, Helle Herman Mortensen, Jonas Herman Pedersen, and director, Lasse Lund Lauridsen. Form & Refine works according to the UN's global goals for CO2 footprint, durability, social equality and natural materials. The brand's wood comes from European forestry. Sold online only.
Form & Refine strives for their wood waste to be biodegradable. The brand is co-owner of Damsbo Forest on Funen, from which they buy wood when the forest's natural balance allows it. They use the wood for their Danish-produced furniture, so this entire production – from the first germinating seeds to the finished product – takes place in Denmark.
