In collaboration with the Danish design brand, SÆTTER Copenhagen, we present the Louisiana x SÆTTER 5 bookcase , also known as the "cup bookcase", made exclusively for Louisiana Design Butik. The bookcase is made of Oregon pine, whose glow and special grain pattern play together with Louisiana's architecture and gardens. "When you visit Louisiana, you are greeted by warm paneled walls, massive wooden ceilings and elegant pinol doors. It is exactly that warmth that we would like to add in this special edition", as the founder of SÆTTER Copenhagen, Caroline Birk Bahrenscher, puts it.
The Louisiana x SÄTTER 5 bookcase is a reinterpretation of the classic set box, and an old flea find became the source of inspiration for the popular design, which today can be found in homes around the world. The bookcase is produced by experienced carpenters in Denmark in a craftsmanship quality that means the bookcase can last for generations to come.
