Lamp in hand-folded, custom-made paper from the Copenhagen brand, Sonobe Light, with a classic, white fabric cord. The lamp provides a soft and warm light through the unbleached paper, folded in up to 11 layers. All Sonobe lamps have names inspired by fossils in the Danish nature – Cidea, after a group of petrified sea urchins, Cidarids/Cidaris.
The Cedea lamp shade is made from 100% degradable and recyclable paper, so that every tree that is felled for paper production is replaced with a new one. The lamp is fitted with a piece of lambskin at the top and is closed at the bottom, from which the lamp can also be opened for possible change to other bulb. The lamp is delivered assembled, ready for use with 3m fabric cord, plug and built-in bulb (E14 LED, lifetime up to 15,000 hours).
