Richard Mosse's photography captures the beauty and horror of war and destruction. Born in Ireland and now based in New York, Mosse (b. 1980) has worked in many different countries and has spent years in the Amazon exposing the tragedy unfolding there.
With a selection of images from his series, Tristes Tropiques and Broken Spectre, this book shows what happens when what Mosse calls two 'opposite worlds' collide in his work. Both heartbreaking and startlingly beautiful.
