Artists Remake the World introduces the English philosophy lecturer Vid Simoniti readers to the political ambitions of contemporary art at the beginning of the 21st century and presents a new, far-reaching account of art's political potential. The book examines innovations such as evidence-driven art, socially engaged art, and ecological art, and explores how artists have attempted to offer bold solutions to the world's problems.

Vid Simoniti is a lecturer in philosophy at the University of Liverpool, formerly a junior researcher at the University of Cambridge. He is a BBC New Generation Thinker 2021 and co-chair of a fully funded four-year conference program at the Jeffrey Rubinoff Sculpture Park Foundation.
