Syksy tumbler , two pieces of mouth-blown glass, designed by, Matti Klenell, for Finnish, Marimekko, continues the exploration of natural and weather phenomena known from Marimekko's graphic art. The overarching theme of the new series is the forms of autumn rain, from gentle drizzle to powerful, drenching downpours, retold on the surface of the glass in a sketchy manner typical of the designer.
Marimekko's glassware is mouth-blown into a mold. Being handmade, they may occasionally contain air bubbles and other small signs of craftsmanship. A slight variation between the products is natural.
