Memphis cup, two pieces in a box, from the Danish design brand, Stilleben, in Copenhagen. Stilleben designs and produces its own collections of crockery, textiles and interiors, but also designs for other renowned Danish designs: Kähler, Skagerak, Motarasu and Lyngby Porcelæn. Stilleben, for example, is behind the design of Kähler's iconic striped Omaggio vase, which instantly went global upon its launch in 2009.
Stilleben was founded in 2002 by the designers, Ditte Reckweg and Jelena Schou Nordentoft, both educated at the Academy of Fine Arts, specializing in glass and ceramics.
Stilleben strives for sustainable production and shipping with reuse of raw materials in production and minimization of packaging.
