Chug mold is handmade and designed by the Danish ceramist Anders Arhøj and is part of the series 'Tokyo tableware' , first introduced in 2017. The design and name of the series reflect Anders Arhøj's time in Tokyo, Japan, where he worked with design and interiors and became very inspired by the Japanese culture. A special characteristic of Anders Arhøj's ceramics is the continuous glaze, which creates a nice play of colors. The selection of colors online may vary from the selection in the shop at the museum.
In 2013, Anders Arhøj opened his own design and production studio in Copenhagen. Here, Arhøj's products are designed and handmade, and he can thereby get involved in the development and production, as well as get up close to the products and check the quality.
Chug mug is a handmade cup in stoneware, and since it is 100% handmade by the ceramicists at Studio Arhoj, each cup is unique and there may therefore be minor deviations in color and structure from the image you see of the cup.
