The Mini Yuki vase is handmade and designed by the Danish ceramist Anders Arhøj. The Mini Yuki vase is part of Studio Arhøj's edu series and named after the Japanese word for snow. A special characteristic of Anders Arhøj's ceramics is the continuous glaze, which creates a beautiful play of colors and Arhøj's handmade ceramics are today world-renowned. The colors may vary between the versions in the webshop and in the shop at the museum.
In 2005, Arhøj began working with design and interiors in Tokyo, Japan, and today much of his design is inspired by Japanese culture.
Anders Arhøj opened his own design and production studio in Copenhagen in 2013. All Arhøj's ceramics are designed, hand-turned and glazed here. Anders Arhøj can thus be close to development, production and quality control.
Mini Yuki is made of waterproof stoneware and can therefore be used as a vase.
