Cidea Classic White lamp

Lamp in hand-folded, custom-made paper from the Copenhagen brand, Sonobe Light, with a classic, white fabric cord. The lamp gives a soft and warm light through the unbleached paper, folded in up to 11 layers. All Sonobe lamps have names inspired by fossils in Danish nature – Cidea, after a group of fossilized sea urchins, Cidarids/Cidaris.

The Cedea lamp shade is made of 100% biodegradable and recyclable paper, so that every tree that is cut down for paper production is replaced with a new one. The lamp is mounted with a piece of lambskin at the top and is closed at the bottom, from which the lamp can also be opened for possible change to another bulb. The lamp is delivered assembled, ready to use with 3m fabric cord, plug and built-in bulb (E14 LED, lifespan up to 15,000 hours).
