Cyanotype kit from the Danish brand, Maibritt Amsler. Cyanotype (also called blue print or light print) is an old photographic technique from the 19th century, where light-sensitive emulsion is developed in sunlight. Cyanotype is easy and anyone can make the finest prints of e.g. plant parts. Cyanotype can be made on paper, wood, fabric, eggs etc. and there are a lot of ideas on e.g. pinterest.
The accompanying emulsion in powder form can last for years. When the powder has been added to water, the shelf life is approximately one year. There is enough liquid for more than 100 postcard-sized prints (supplement yourself with watercolor paper).
Maibritt Amsler graduated from Denmark's Design School (KADK), runs a design studio from Copenhagen's Kødby, prints serigraphs in Copenhagen NV and holds workshops to order in various printing techniques.

NOTE: The two blue bottles contain ammonium ferric citrate and potassium ferricyanide respectively. The emulsion is not toxic, but can irritate the skin and therefore it is recommended to use gloves. The contents of the two bottles must not be mixed with chemicals other than those included in the kit.
