Portable Lamp, PL5 , from the English designer George Sowden. The portable and rechargeable lamp is suitable for indoors and outdoors in places where it is dry.
Battery can be easily replaced as needed. The brightness of the lamp is adjustable with three settings, which are controlled by pressing the top of the lamp. The lamp comes with a USB cable for charging and the battery has a life of 4 to over 10 hours, depending on the selected brightness. It takes approximately three hours to fully charge the battery. When the lamp is connected to USB, it can be switched on continuously. The silicone screen is easy to remove and clean.
As an artist, designer and product developer, George Sowden has worked all over the world since he moved from his hometown of Leeds to Milan back in 1970. Sowden has a personal interest in the craft itself and in working with smaller businesses. In 1981, he co-founded the design and architecture group, The MEMPHIS Design Movement, and in 2010 he named his own brand, Sowden.
