With a keen sense of today's funk style, Mogens Lassen designed the iconic Kubus candlesticks in 1962, then reserved for the family and closest architect friends. Kubus is still manufactured in Denmark, and has achieved status as a modern international design icon among architects and design lovers.
Architect Mogens Lassen (1901-1987) is among the major Danish architects, one of the pioneers within Danish functionalism, and internationally recognized for his characteristic architecture. Mogens Lassen was inspired by the German design school Bauhaus, and the geometric shapes are often reproduced in his iconic designs.

Cleaning: Turn the candle holder upside down and place it on a baking sheet with baking paper standing on the candle holders. Place in a 75 degree oven for 15-20 minutes. The rod is then wiped with a damp cloth.
NB! Never use sharp objects or boiling water to clean the candlestick. We recommend that you do not let the candles burn all the way down the pole, as this can cause discoloration or damage to the paintwork.
