The Jaquard weave offers the choice between two expressions, one on each side of the tea towel. It is designed by Louisiana and woven in Italy.
The cafe wall with the projecting stones was ready at the opening of Louisiana in 1958 and is a fine example of the holistic thinking that characterized the architects Bo & Wohlerts' understated and refined use of details and materials in central parts of Louisiana's architecture from the start.
The projecting bricks form a three-dimensional composition, the special pattern of which becomes apparent when the light slides across the faceted surface during the day.
