The stylish paper basket designed by Vilhelm Wohlert is a Louisiana classic and part of Louisiana's own interior collection.
Louisiana's unique architecture was created by two Danish architects, Vilhelm Wohlert and Jørgen Bo. In connection with the opening of the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in 1958, Vilhelm Wohlert also created design objects to be used in the museum.
The black paper basket with bast handle is part of this original Louisiana Design collection.
Louisiana Design is based on simple, recognizable forms that refer to the museum's architecture. The design series consists of a tray, a lantern, a paper basket and two smaller storage boxes.
