Angle stool is a stool with a special sitting comfort that arises with the seat's two pieces of wood, angled 10 degrees to each other. The stool is light and can therefore be comfortably taken around wherever an extra seat is needed. Angle Stool is designed by the Danish design brand, Form & Refine.
When Helle Herman Mortensen, Jonas Herman Pedersen and Lasse Lund Lauridsen founded the Danish design brand Form & Refine back in 2018, it was vital for them to create a brand that embodies the Nordic design heritage of which they themselves are a part.
The founders are all material geeks and love wood. Wood has a long life and poses less environmental impact than any other material, can be reused and recycled.
Form & Refine's wood waste is 100% biodegradable and comes from forestry in Europe. And the brand is also co-owner of Damsbo Forest on Funen, where they only take wood when the forest's natural balance allows it. They use the wood for their Danish-produced furniture, so the entire cycle – from the first germinating seeds to the finished product – takes place in Denmark.
The Angle stool stool is made of solid oak and has strong side beams. It is therefore a very solid and durable stool. The leather band and the supporting brass rod under the seat give the stool the final touches of detail and a prominent shape.
A stool is often a piece of furniture that does not have a fixed position, but has many possible uses. The Angle stool has the added functionality of being foldable and can be stored on the wall. The stool is therefore particularly good for you with limited space or who just want to optimize your space.
The stool is stored on the wall with the included solid brass hook.
