Tea towel, Eco Thinstripe , in 100% organic cotton from the Swedish design brand A World of Craft. Their range from Eco consists of textiles made from organically grown cotton, which is handwoven in a region of north-west India.
A World of Craft was founded as a foundation by women's and church organizations to promote, support and spread crafts from the African continent. The first shop opened in Stockholm in 1967, founded by Jytte Bonnier, and became a channel for artworks created at the "Rorke's Drift" art school in South Africa. Since then, A World of Craft has expanded to stores in several locations in Stockholm and Gothenburg and now also includes crafts from Latin America and Asia. The aim is to promote traditional handicrafts and create income opportunities in areas where handicrafts are of great importance.
