Sanna mobile bag, built in leather, sewn in quilted rectangles like bricks in a wall, from Danish Markberg, which focuses on less environmentally harmful production and minimal waste of raw materials. Sanna holds, for example, an iPhone 12 or 13, holds three cards, closes with a zip and is equipped with an adjustable and removable strap.
Markberg is concerned with ensuring sustainability, both in the choice of partners and materials – a focus that, among other things, has resulted in a collection of bags made from recycled plastic bottles, which was launched in spring 2020.
All Markberg leather bags and small items are produced without any leather waste. Residual leather, which is cut off in production, is recycled: First, larger leather scraps are used for smaller small items such as wallets and key rings. Smaller pieces of waste leather are used for upcycled products, produced as patchwork bags - and very small scraps are molded into leather plates, which are used inside bags to reinforce various elements in the bags.
