Glaze Bowl from the series, Clayvibe Unika , by the Danish architect, product designer and researcher Vibeke Rytter. Vibeke Rytter is educated at Denmark's Design School and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts' School of Architecture. She is represented at fairs and exhibitions both nationally and internationally, including in Designmuseum Denmark's permanent collection.
Vibeke Rytter's main area includes a great interest in architecture, design, material research and ceramic works. Her interdisciplinary training and extensive travel experiences have inspired her to develop processes that are crucial to the expression of the finished works, as well as to promote design and research.
In 2001 she was a guest student at the Academy of Fine Arts' School of Sculpture with professor Morten Stræde - and from 2011-2017 Vibeke Rytter carried out a research project 'Glazed lightweight construction elements' at the School of Architecture and the Danish Technological Institute.
Vibeke Rytter has received several travel and work grants from, among others, the Statens Kunstfond, the Beckett Foundation and the Danmarks Nationalbanken Jubilæumsfond.
