Teardrop, is the name of this vase from the series, Flow, by the Danish architect, Vibeke Rytter. Here, Rytter has created a piece of expressionist architecture with inspiration from the brick structure in Copenhagen's Grundtvig Church - and from the ripples on the surface of the water in the nearby lakes.
Vibeke Rytter is also a painter and does scientific research into material types – among other things in ceramics. Rytter has received several awards for her design and her works are represented in museums around the world - and on a permanent exhibition at the Design Museum in Denmark.
