Handwoven showpiece, Eco Blockstripe , from the Swedish design brand A World of Craft. ECO is a series of fabrics made from organic cotton, handwoven in the area around Kutch in northwestern India.
A World of Craft, formerly Afroart, was founded in 1967. Since then, they have collaborated with artisans in Africa, Asia and Latin America to promote and develop traditional crafts. The company's goal is to support fair trade practices and create new job opportunities in regions where crafts play a vital role in the livelihoods of local populations.
