Choose options

Louisiana poster with the work Close Cover Before Striking, 1962 by Andy Warhol. The motif, an enlarged matchbook, is a classic example of pop art, which draws its imagery from advertising and other mass media. Andy Warhol is one of the main figures in the pop art movement.
The original work on which the exhibition poster is based was painted in 1962, two years after Warhol, who had been a successful advertising cartoonist, became an artist. The original work is part of the Louisiana collection, and the exhibition poster was printed in connection with the Pop Art Design exhibition at Louisiana in 2013.
The exhibition poster is a first edition from 2013.
Note: The poster is sold as shown in the first picture, i.e. without a frame.
