300-piece puzzle with floral motifs by the world-famous American pop-art artist, Andy Warhol (1928 – 1987). Warhol was inspired by the floral series of hibiscus flowers in a photograph in the photography magazine of the time, Modern Photography. He acquired the photograph and with a new technique he adjusted the colors and created a technicolor series of flower images, which he simply called - Flowers, Blomster. A new icon in pop-art lore had been created.
Warhol created his flower series, "Flowers", in 1964 - and debuted the series at the influential Leo Castelli Gallery the same year - an exhibition that helped lift Warhol up into the established art world.
