Bella Ballou was founded by Pia Grønlund and Tina Steentoft in 2008. Two women who are creative by nature and have worked with design and graphic lines all their lives. In addition to bags in vegan leather (PU), Bella Ballou designs colorful silk scarves.
Bella Ballou has a holistic approach to sustainability and deals with it throughout the design process. From the materials they use in their collections to how their suppliers operate and the environmental impact their production has. And not least: the conditions for the people they work with. For example they ensure that their sea freight is 100 percent CO2-neutral, as a tree corresponding to their CO2 footprint is planted for each shipment.
