Designers First is a small Danish furniture company established in 2017. They collaborate with young upcoming designers and thereby create fertile ground for creative and innovative solutions. Designers First has a great focus on being less environmentally burdensome in all processes. All products are produced in Denmark. The design must be able to last several generations, the price must be at the lowest level, with as few intermediaries as possible.
One of the upcoming designers is Stella Graversen. She is a trained designer from VIA University College Aarhus. She has already won Boligmagasinet Design Favorites 2021 for her design of Beside . Characteristic of her designs is a simple expression. An expression that allows the materials to speak for themselves. These are products that are very honest and where the viewer can easily see through the construction. The aim is always to simplify the details as much as possible without compromising on quality and functionality.

Linoleum is a natural material made from linseed oil (extracted from the linseed plant), resin, wood flour, limestone flour and natural color pigments, which are then given a special surface finish which ensures that linoleum is naturally antistatic.
