In Surveying the Anthropocene - surveying the present - some of the world's renowned art photographers present a number of new ways of creating images of environmental conditions around the world - at a crucial time in our relationship with planet earth. The book contains 260 striking photographs from more than 50 international contributors.
Photographers' approach to environmental images has changed in recent decades, as a result of increasing socio-ecological awareness. Surveying the Anthropocene maps the current working methods among both established and upcoming photographers who explore man-made changes in the environment worldwide.
