Engholm's tea towels are produced from recycled cotton residues from, for example, the clothing industry – a form of production that can reduce the consumption of water, energy and chemicals that would otherwise have gone into the production of new cotton products.
The tea towels are manufactured in India by Engholm's supplier, who is GRS certified. GRS - Global Recycled Standard - is an international label that tracks and verifies recycled textile material.
