Nychair X Ottoman was designed by the Japanese, Takeshi Nii, back in 1972 - two years after the Japanese master designed the award-winning and world-famous armchair, Nychair X, which you can also find here on the webshop. Like the chair, the expression of the stool is rooted in living environments in the simple and functional Japanese style and it works both as an independent stool and together with Nychair X for a high level of sitting comfort. The Ottoman's seat is made of very solid Kurashiki sail cloth, which has a long durability and does not produce static electricity. The sailcloth is produced from natural materials at the same factory in Japan since 1888.
