Pop bottle - mouth-blown bottle with glass stopper by the Swedish glass and ceramic artist, Katarina Löfström, who since the early 90s has been hand-crafting useful items and unique items in her own workshop at the harbor in Varberg. Löfström's world in glass began back in 1985 at Orrefors Glass School, continued via Reijmyre Glasbrug in Norway, where she learned mold blowing and to take up the right amount of glass, via Ulva Kvarn in Uppsala to Switzerland in a job with Philip Baldwin & Monica Guggisberg, over Bornholm together with Pernille Bülow, before she landed at the harbor in Varberg, where she still produces.
Katarina Löfström produces her one-of-a-kind pieces and her applied art exclusively using traditional craft methods.
