Stool KA52

KA52 - handmade oak stool from the Danish design brand, Kath & Andersen, which produces furniture based on three principles: Good craftsmanship, quality, and durability. Casper and Thomas Andersen's fascination with working with wood as a material began with their first workshop in their parents' backyard. Later, the brothers inherited a complete carpentry workshop from Fanø, and today it remains central to them that they can quickly create a prototype from an idea and thus see the concept in practice.

KA52 is specially assembled using the so-called dovetail joint - inspired by Danish half-timbered tradition, where houses are assembled by ensuring that all parts of the construction interlock and hold each other in place. The same principle applies to KA52.

The stool from Kath and Andersen combines Danish craftsmanship with modern design. It is simple in its expression, yet full of exquisite details. The stool is handmade in the brand's workshop in Kolding.
