The Dutch design brand Kinta has designed this teapot as part of their Rotunda collection. Inspired by round and soft shapes and the gentle colors of nature, this teapot is created by potters in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Kinta collaborates with 8th generation potters in Hanoi, who carry on the old customs of the craft in Vietnam. Inspired and colored by nature's own materials, this earthen pot has acquired a reddish glow, as a consequence of iron in the clay. The Rotunda collection is created from local resources and the ceramicists themselves mix the colors in the series. The teapot is baked at a high temperature, which makes it suitable for both the microwave and dishwasher.
