The idea for Markberg arose when Mette Markberg had to buy new gloves in 2008 and could not find the right ones with the right mix of design and function. Together with her husband, Mark, she set about developing high-quality designer gloves. Shortly after, the bags arrived. The core values are timeless design and quality, where functionality has not been compromised.

Markberg focuses on there being a balance between materials, producer and consumer. Therefore, all Markberg bags are produced based on the principle of no leather waste. As a pioneer in the industry, Markberg has dedicated himself to working on using the residual materials for other products such as wallets and key rings.

Markberg is also behind a collection of bags, made from recycled plastic bottles, which was launched in spring 2020.

This bag is produced from quality lambskin - a delicate material that needs frequent and thorough care with a gentle leather care product.
