Tube Pendant, pendant from Danish Moebe , lights up from a solid aluminum tube, lined with translucent paper. The upper shade can be easily adjusted so that the light can be diffused upwards, and the paper can be pulled out a little to give light at the edge of the lamp a soft, warm glow.
MoMoebe produces furniture and lifestyle items, with sustainable ambitions for simplicity, durability, possibility of repair and with production as much as possible from certified raw materials. The brand was created in 2014 by architects Martin de Neergard Christensen, Nicholas Oldroyd and cabinet maker Anders Thams and the team develops all designs from their studio workshop at Amager in Copenhagen.
Moebe seeks to support the need for "less" in their design. What is the core function and how to remove the unnecessary? How can you do more with less? And how do you screw a product together so that it lasts as long as possible?
