Saga - a designer children's chair from Danish Oaklings, founded by Anja Pajor in 2020. After a year of reflection, a fondness for the simple craftsmanship tradition in classic, Nordic design - and a concrete need for a chair for her daughter - Pajor created the series of children's furniture in collaboration with renowned Danish designer Nina Bruun. The chair is designed with an emphasis on quality, aesthetics and functionality based on a desire to offer simple, timeless furniture for children. With Bruun's Storm Kids Chair , Oaklings has won the German Design Award 2024 in the furniture category, "Excellent Product Design – Furniture".
In the design process, Oaklings and Nina Bruun have kept in mind that Saga had to be a high chair that could grow with the child, so that the child could enjoy the high chair for as long as possible: The high chair has a removable T-cross at the front, which, together with the adjustable footrest, allows the chair to grow with the child.
When purchasing the chair, a set of brass plates is included, which can be engraved with the child's name - or a personal greeting to the recipient if the chair is given as a gift.
The chair is made of solid oak in European factories and is subsequently treated with a non-toxic matt lacquer, which makes the chair easy to clean.
The high chair complies with all European safety requirements and is tested according to the European standard, EN14988:217+A1:2020.
Age: With T-cross: 0-3 years. Without T-junction: 3-6 years.

As a natural product, the chair may have minor deviations in the wood. Gentle cleaning with a cloth and a little washing-up liquid is recommended. Very high or fluctuating humidity can make the wood more fragile and can lead to cracks in the furniture and the gradual loosening of bolts on T-junctions and footrests.
