Ruth Asawa: The Journal is an Italian-made notebook in absolute luxury equipment. Based on the Japanese-American artist, Ruth Asawa (1926-2013) and her characteristic, handmade sculptures of metal wire, the book is intended as an inspiration for the user, with space for own drawings and notes.
Ruth Asawa's sculptures explore the interplay between light and shadow, and Asawa also produced a vast body of works on paper, weaving her creative practice into her daily life, depicting her Californian garden, family and home.
Ruth Asawa has exhibited widely throughout the world since the early 1950s and was featured in solo exhibitions across much of the United States until her death.
