Cup in stoneware and cement designed by Frédérick Gautier for the Belgian design brand, Serax. With a distinct preference for simple forms with rough concrete aspects, Frédérick Gautier pays tribute to architecture with his 'Urbanistic Ceramics'.
Frédérick Gautier, who has more than 20 years of experience as an artistic director and initiator of countless cultural projects, threw himself into new adventures after his studies at the École du Paysage in Versailles. Here he fell in love with modeling and ceramics, and his fascination with raw and industrial architecture led him to search for a type of clay that, after firing, resembled concrete to perfection.
The cup is dishwasher, microwave and oven safe up to 250 degrees.
