As an artist, designer and product developer , George Sowden has worked all over the world since he moved from his hometown of Leeds to Milan back in 1970. Sowden has a personal interest in the craft itself and in working with smaller businesses. In 1981, he co-founded the design and architecture group, The MEMPHIS Design Movement, and in 2010 he named his own brand, Sowden.
