On the trail of a slumber blanket - and a short history of Kjellerup Væveri , written by the Danish weaver Anne Mette Larsen. The book includes the history of Kjellerup Væveri - a textile workshop with a central role in Danish weaving. She explores the history of weaving and its importance for the weaving tradition in Denmark, including the production of the iconic slumber carpets.'

Anne Mette Lasen is a trained weaver from Aarhus Art Academy with 40 years of experience. Through her life's work, she has created impressive amounts of textile - over a kilometer - in total. Her works are characterized by classic checkered patterns. Many of her carpets and weavings have found their way to galleries and collections worldwide, e.g. at a library in Rome, Carlsberg Foundation and a exhibition at a gallery in Kiev.
