Bowl, FJ Essence , made from old drawings by Finn Juhl Jørgensen. The white porcelain bowl was originally designed in 1952, but it never went into production because the shapes were too complex.
After 60 years, ARCHITECTMADE rediscovered the old drawings and brought FJ Essence to life. The bowl is hand-glazed and true to its original design. As one of many Danish architects in the 1950s, Finn Juhl stands out by having undergone one of the most successful international breakthroughs. To date, he is one of Denmark's most famous architects, known for his bold, sculptural forms and refined details. Surprisingly, Finn Juhl, unlike his fellow students, started in 1930 at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts for Architecture in Copenhagen - without any prior experience as a craftsman.
