Lightweigt Stool – stool in oak

The stool in European oak from the Danish design brand, Form and Refine, founded in 2018 by the furniture architects behind Herman Studio, Helle Herman Mortensen, Jonas Herman Pedersen, and director, Lasse Lund Lauridsen. An ultra-light but strong stool that can function as extra seating, a design object or a side table.

Form and Refine works sustainably according to the UN's global goals on carbon footprint, sustainability, social equality and natural materials.

Form & Refine's wood waste is 100% biodegradable and comes from forestry in Europe. They are also co-owners of Damsbo Skov on Funen, from which they only purchase wood when the forest's natural balance allows. They use the wood for their Danish-produced furniture, so the entire cycle – from the first germinating seeds to the finished product – takes place in Denmark.
