Canvas 21 Chair

Lounge chair , Canvas 21 Chair, originally designed by Børge Mogensen in 1968 under the name BM2221. Canvas 21 was produced in various versions throughout the 1970s. The chair found its place in many different environments, from Mogensen's own home in Gentofte to the Graversen residence, the family behind Fredericia. In addition, it was chosen by Knud W. Jensen for the cinema hall at Louisiana and was also featured in an installation photo from the exhibition 'Projection' in 1972.

The canvas chair marks a shift from Mogensen's previous, more exclusive leather furniture and embraces a light and relaxed aesthetic with its solid wood frame, tactile canvas and elegant brass details.
