Happy Design Families Game

Experience design through play with Happy Design Families from the French publisher Les Editions 205. Inspired by the classic card game Happy Families, the game invites you to collect families of design objects – from classics to everyday objects – while learning about the movements and ideas that have shaped design history.

Featuring 10 illustrated families, including a large family, a super family and a joker, the game provides a vivid overview of the development of the design. Each card is beautifully illustrated, making the game both educational and entertaining.

Les Éditions 205 is a French publishing house founded in 2010 and led by graphic designers Damien Gautier and Florence Cortat Roller. The publishing house publishes books on visual cultures, graphic design, typography, architecture, urbanism and the Anthropocene – always with a focus on combining knowledge, communication and aesthetics.
