The black dining chair with round leather seat was designed by architect Vilhelm Wohlert. The chair is a Louisiana classic and part of Louisiana's own interior collection.
Louisiana's unique architecture was created by two Danish architects, Vilhelm Wohlert and Jørgen Bo. In connection with the opening of the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in 1958, Vilhelm Wohlert also created design objects to be used in the museum. The chair was relaunched in 2018 in connection with the museum's 60th anniversary.
Louisiana Design is based on simple, recognizable forms that refer to the museum's architecture. In addition to the dining table chair, the design series also consists of a tray, a lantern, a wastebasket and two smaller storage boxes.
