Cici shopper in certified calfskin, from Danish Markberg. The brand focuses on less environmentally damaging production and minimal waste of raw materials, thus on the balance between materials, producer and consumer.

All Markberg bags are produced with the principle of zero leather waste. As a pioneer in the industry, Markberg has dedicated itself to working on using leftover materials for other products such as wallets and key rings.

The idea for Markberg arose when Mette Markberg needed to buy new gloves in 2008 and couldn't find the right ones, with the right mix of design and function. Together with her husband, Mark, she set about developing high-quality designer gloves. Shortly after, the bags were added. The core values are timeless design and quality, where functionality has not been compromised.

Markberg is also behind a collection of bags made from recycled plastic bottles, which was launched in spring 2020.
