Candlestick

Handmade candlestick in stoneware from the Danish design brand, May Studio, by Mette Clausen, who has a ceramics studio and shop in the old Sydhavn in Copenhagen.

Mette Clausen is a visual artist educated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. Like her daughter, she was born in May and named her brand after the spring month as a symbol of the coming summer, brighter days, and blooming lilies of the valley. Mette Clausen uses recycled materials as much as possible and focuses on minimizing waste in her production.
