Carpet – Sam 70x150

Carpet, Sam, from the Swedish carpet brand Pappelina. The carpets are made at the local weaving mill in Leksand, Dalarna. The design of the carpet is inspired by the Swedish landscapes.

After four years in the US, Lina Rickardsson returned to Falun, where she discovered a weaving association and rekindled her interest in weaving. In the late 90s, at the age of 24, she moved to Gothenburg and took courses in weaving. Her hand-woven linen rugs and paper products quickly caught the eye, and the renowned store Norrgavel ordered 24 rugs. This was the start of her journey and the establishment of the brand Pappelina, named as a play on words "paper", "linen" and her own name, "Lina".
