Classic, handmade lambskin gloves from Royal Court Supplier, Randers Handsker - today, Rhanders - founded in 1811 and with roots dating back to the 1250s. Rhanders has supplied gloves to royal families since the beginning: Princess Dagmar continued to buy Rhanders gloves after she became the Tsarina of Russia. The French Queen, Marie Antoinette, reportedly wanted gloves from Randers because of the way they made her hands feel soft and delicious, but also because of the recognizable aroma - which came from the Calamus flower, brought to the Gudenåen in Randers by monks, and used in the tanning process.
