Knife – CK20 Sale price$210.00

Chef's knife, forged in the German knife city, Solingen and designed by the Danish brand, Veark. The Veark knife is produced from a single piece of steel using the special drop-forged forging technique, which leaves each knife with an individual pattern on the handle. Instead of adding unnecessary joints and extra materials, the knife gains its unique quality and appearance from the raw manufacturing process itself – a nod to both our Scandinavian design heritage and the principles of the Bauhaus design tradition.

___

Focusing on the knife as the most important tool in the kitchen, Veark developed the special “open” handle by looking at how professional chefs hold their knives: a kind of wrench-inspired design that invites you to push your thumb onto the blade and grip it right at the balance point – providing high stability and a firm grip.

The blade is laser cut and sandblasted and the knife is completely symmetrical and can therefore be used with both left and right hands.

Dimensions: Blade length: 20 cm
Material: High quality stainless steel
Color: Steel
Design: Veark
Model: Veark, Chef's Knife, CK20

The knife can be sharpened by hand to just under 30° (both sides combined). If you are using an adjustable sharpening tool, set the angle to 28° for best results. (14° per side).
