The Belgian artist Ann Veronica Janssens (b. 1956) has created sculptures and spatial installations for over four decades. Her art is always based on familiar materials: glass, liquids, fog and, not least, light. What the works have in common is that they challenge our perception.
Janssen's approach can be reminiscent of a scientist - she experiments, among other things. a. with liquids.
The richly illustrated catalog has been published for the exhibition Hot Pink Turquoise at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art and the South London Gallery. The publication contains a large number of texts about the artist's work as well as an interview with Janssens and videos that can be played via augmented reality, where the artist is in conversation with a physicist.
