Soap dish from the Danish design brand Aoidoi. Handmade in Japan from carefully selected Hinoki wood in collaboration with skilled craftsmen from the Kochi mountains, it combines functionality with a calm, timeless design.

Hinoki wood, also known as Japanese cypress, is naturally antibacterial and has a rich, natural scent due to its high resin content. The special material adds a sensual quality to your bathroom while keeping your soap dry, extending its lifespan.

Aoidoi has their studio in Kapselfabrikken — the historic Carlsberg capsule factory in Copenhagen. Here, they research, develop and design all aspects of Aoidoi in-house. They choose materials that either last or return to the earth, collaborate with artisans who share their ethics, and celebrate craftsmanship through thoughtful methods.
